During the sixty's and early seventy's Don built boats for himself that set records time after time. In fact at one time during the seventy's Don held two drag boat records in top alcohol and top gas with the same motor and at the same time!

Don spent a majority of the late seventy's experimenting with Custom turbocharging. His success has been kept secret all this time. Don once took a pinto 4 cyl. and Turbocharged it,when they put it on the dyno nobody could believe it! Over 1000 horsepower! Just for kicks they stuck it in an old front eng. dragster chassis and ran 8.56 at 159mph in the quarter! Brother Clifford was involved with this one,and he had set records at bonneville before Don or Gerald ever saw the salt.

Don is a little more family orientated than Gerald he is a grandfather many times over and spends his spare time when not at the shop with them. Don is Happily married.
